Nikolo-Solbinsky Convent

It is located on the Solba River in the village of Solba, Nagoryevskoye Rural Settlement, Pereslavsky District, Yaroslavl Region, 95 km from Sergiyev Posad.

The Monastery of St. Nicholas on the Solba appeared in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. Initially, it was a male monastery and was established on the Byltzino Field, 4 km from its current location. In ancient times, these lands belonged to Ivan Fedorovich Koshkin and his son Zakharia, the direct ancestors of the future Romanov dynasty.
