Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands in the Village of Usovo

The historical church in Usovo was restored to its original architectural form in 2004. In 2009-2010, a new Spassky Church was built in the village of Usovo under the supervision of Vladimir Putin, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The modern church complex was designed by architect Vladimir Izhikov and consists of a church, a Water-Consecrated Chapel, a Rectory, and the Usovo-Spasskoye Orthodox Educational Center. The centerpiece of the complex is a four-apse church with a baptistery in the name of the Savior Not Made by Hands, which resembles the churches of the 11th century in appearance.

The exterior of the church is an embodiment of the traditions of ancient Russian temple architecture, with harmonious proportions, elegance, and the power of a white-stone silhouette. The educational center houses a Sunday school, classrooms with modern equipment, a conference hall, a 120-seat theater, a gym, a library with a reading room, an exhibition hall, and a memorial room dedicated to the Holy Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna.

The shareholders of the Igronik Group of Companies are the temple's patrons.
